Situated in the former Salvation Army Citadel, the Social Kitchen's cosy environment surrounds you with character and charm. The use of a Mibrasa charcoal oven allows our chefs the ability to cook with authenticity which retains the natural flavours.
Our food is made to share and be enjoyed by all.
Online bookings are subject to availability, please use the form to book online. Online bookings close at 3pm daily. If your have a group of 11 or more please phone the restaurant to make a booking.
Big groups: if your party is proving popular you might like us to choose a fixed price per head, our family style menu will keep the food and conversation flowing, otherwise ask one of us to order for your group. Lucky us, we’ve tried and tasted it all and know what’s great and will work for a group.
Things change: if extras want to join in or friends aren’t up for the occasion let us know so we can be ready, were small and popular so the number you book for is the number we need to charge for *
Cancellations: if you need to cancel your booking or reduce your numbers, sniff sniff, please send us a message the day before
Running late: if its more than the usual 15 minutes let us know so that we can keep other socialites away from your table.
Slow Cooked Sundays: we put together a fixed price family style meal every Sunday, you can settle in from 12pm.
